This movie was described in the reviews as one of the greatest movies ever, and after 5 minutes there was no doubt in my mind that it wasn't. The movie starts of with a spectacular battle-scene which is so visually overwhelming that even "The Phantom Menace" or "The Matrix" might have seem outdated. From there the story continues on and it never became boring from that moment. I must honestly say I never heard much from Russel Crowe but after this movie I'm sure I and many others will hear a great many things from him. He overplayed the other actors with ease, which is quite a thing to do since the other actors were also giving a very good performance. The music really fits the movie and it mad me want to go buy the sound-track of this movie. This movie should be in one line with classics as: Ben Hur, Star Wars and The Godfather. There was just one dissapointing thing about it and that was the end. It was, for my taste, somewhat predictable, but on the other hand, the other possible end would also not be satisfactory for a movie like this.
